About the All In Foster Care Summit

Every year, the All In Foster Care Summit gathers church leaders, child welfare professionals, advocates, and community members for a powerful, one-day event dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable children and families across West Virginia. This summit is more than just a conference—it’s a collective effort to re-imagine and strengthen the foster care system through collaboration, education, and faith-based advocacy.

A Shared Vision for a Better Future

West Virginia’s foster care system faces numerous challenges, from a growing number of children entering care to the pressing need for more foster families and stronger support networks. The Summit aims to address these challenges head-on by bringing together individuals and organizations committed to creating meaningful change. By fostering a shared vision of support, the event seeks to build a more compassionate, connected, and effective foster care community.

Inspiring National Voices and Local Impact

A highlight of the summit is the opportunity to hear from national leaders in foster care and faith-based advocacy. These speakers bring a wealth of experience and expertise, offering fresh perspectives on how churches, agencies, and communities can work together to support children and families more effectively. Their insights serve as a foundation for deeper discussions and practical applications throughout the event.

Hands-On Learning and Breakout Sessions

The Summit is designed to equip attendees with actionable strategies to make a tangible impact. Through interactive breakout sessions, participants can explore topics like trauma-informed care, supporting foster and adoptive families, recruiting and training foster parents, and creating church-based support groups. These sessions are tailored to address the unique challenges and opportunities faced by church leaders, child welfare professionals, foster and adoptive parents, and dedicated community members.

Whether you are a church leader looking to mobilize your congregation, a foster parent seeking resources and connection, or a community member eager to learn how to help, the summit provides valuable insights and practical tools to take meaningful action.

Building Connections, Strengthening Communities

Beyond the learning opportunities, the summit emphasizes the power of connection. Attendees will have the chance to network with others who share their passion for transforming foster care—forming partnerships that extend beyond the event itself. These connections help build a stronger, more resilient network of support for children in care and the families who open their hearts and homes to them.

Together, We Can Make a Difference

The All In Foster Care Summit is a call to action—an opportunity to stand together, share knowledge, and build a future where every child and family in West Virginia receives the support they need. Whether you are directly involved in foster care or simply want to learn more about making a difference, your voice and actions matter.

Together, we can build a foster care system rooted in compassion, understanding, and community support. Together, we can make a lasting impact on the lives of vulnerable children and families.
